KMC to make a move against Hotel Yak&Yeti

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City is to forward procedure to make a move against Durbarmarg-based Hotel Yak &Yeti after it turned a hard of hearing ear to the KMC's ask for to pay impose.

As per the KMC, it will begin the procedure to make a move against the Hotel as it has not paid duty on any point so far even after other star inns have as of now go under the expense net.

KMC Revenue Division Chief, Dhurba Kafle, cautioned of halting all administrations and offices gave to the Hotel by KMC in the main stage according to the Clause 165 (2) of the Local Self Governance Act-2055 BS.

Also, Hotel organization and record area would be locked in the second-stage while control supply and drinking water office would be chopped down in the third-stage if the Hotel denies paying assessment.

KMC said that in spite of the fact that the Hotel has presented the subtle elements of the assessment, it was fake one. The Hotel needs to pay duty of 20 years, it paid just a single million rupees two years prior, included KMC.

As per the KMC, the Hotel needs to pay around one million rupees to Rs 1.2 million expense each year. Kafle said that other star inns paid around Rs 70 million as assessment in the financial year 2015/16. An aggregate of 13 star inns are in operation in Kathmandu.
