LOS ANGELES — An EVA Airlines fly traveling to Taipei, Taiwan from Los Angeles International was erroneously sent into the way of another plane last Friday morning.An air movement controller advised the EVA pilot to make a 180-degree-left turn when she really implied right, reported ABC 7. This sent the flying machine into the way of an Air Canada flight and near landscape on the San Gabriel Mountains.The controller understood the error and told the EVA Airlines team, who figured out how to get the plane onto the right way before anything happened.The two planes remained the required separation separated, a Federal Aviation Administration official told CBSLA. Notwithstanding, flying examiners are as yet attempting to decide how close EVA Airlines plane was to the San Gabriel Mountains. The required separation amongst flying machine and such rugged areas is 2,000 feet.
